Spirit Man

You gotta love homecoming week & all the shenanigans that students come up with! This was school spirit day, & I don't know if you can tell or not, but we have school spirit!!! Chandler used blue painters tape to "decorate" his shorts. I asked him if he would be able to go to the bathroom....he assured me that he had that covered. I was worried about him being "strange", but Tom assured me that when he dropped him off at school that this outfit was very conservative. High schoolers.....gotta love 'em!

Centipede

We ran across this scary guy in Russellville after a cross-country meet. He looks vicious, but according to reports, he's harmless. I don't think I'd take any chances though. I'm sure if one was crawling on me, I'd probably harm myself by freaking out...so perhaps he is quite harmful!

Old Photo

Recently I've been helping my dad to research old family history and some kind relatives have sent us some photos. This is an old one of my great-grandparents, Tran & Fleeta Harp, my grandma's parents. It's said this photo was taken of them after their house burned. It's been fun researching old stuff. I've learned lots of tricks & have found some interesting info, but it's a lot of hard work!

Baby Shower

A friend of mine had a baby shower recently, and I decided to try a diaper cake for the occasion. It turned out pretty good. Those little diapers were so cute & tiny! It was really fun to do...and a practical gift too! :)

Clay's coach told them Friday @ practice that he had a surprise for them on Saturday.

His surprise was a really cool run-through sign.

X-Country

NLR Charging Wildcats had their first X-Country meet on Tuesday. There were 750 students entered from schools around the state...there were runners everywhere. It was fun to watch all the students run & cheer them on.

Hornet's Nest

This hornet's nest was found at the campground. It's absolutely huge & was located near the ball field. All we could say was...wow!
