Skating Party

We recently had a skating party for academy. Chandler wasn't able to skate because he rolled his ankle & was in a walking boot/cast. So he and some other guys played pool.

The kids made Valentine Boxes to exchange Valentines. Clay created his alien monster out of a small pizza box. The mouth was a great place to stick Valentines!

Clay's box was one of 3 that won a prize. The really funny thing was the ones that won were all alien/robot related. The kids did a great job & their imaginations were amazing!

A really fun time was had by all!!!

Sandwich Anyone?

During the ice & snow, I would throw all of the crumbs & stale bread to the birds & squirrels. I asked Clay to throw some out & instead of breaking it up so everyone could share, he just threw the whole piece out. This is the result. A little squirrel with a whole slice of bread just hanging out. It was really funny to see him climb the tree with a slice of bread in his mouth!

Snowman...SPLAT!!!!

The boys decided to build snowmen in the street so that cars would hit them. Several people just drove around them, but the more adventurous types stopped to ask if they could hit them. Mostly it was people in jeeps! Below is the progression of the death of Frosty! It was really fun to watch!!!

Valentine's Day Snow

We're seeing our second snow of the month! Huge flakes! Beautiful as it falls! Don't think it's going to stick this time, but it's nice to watch!

Upside Down Snowman

We always try to build a unique snowman & this was our version for the Snow of 2010! We had lots of positive comments on him!

Ingenuity

Clay is such a creative guy! He was playing the other night as I was reading & set up a scene. He loves to take pictures of interesting things so he took one of the scene he set up. All of these army guys were working on the vehicle. It actually looks pretty neat! Hope you get a good laugh and enjoy it like we did!

Rock Wall

Chandler's baseball team hosted a basketball tournament today as a fundraiser for the year. The little brothers were able to do some rock climbing at the Hendrix College Gym that we rented. They had a blast.Wyatt, Clay & Brett getting ready to climb!
