A Special Sight

We decided to take a trip to Branson to pick up a few school clothes for the boys. On the way, we caught sight of something I've always wanted to see in this area of Arkansas. Just north of the cabin is a herd of elk that has been brought in by Game & Fish. They are trying to repopulate the area with a species that once lived in the area. As we were heading north in a field off of highway 65, we saw this elk walking & grazing in a field. We were really excited because the elk just stood there & watched us. It was really cool to see a species that isn't seen often. What a beautiful creature!
